Our mission is to help culinary entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses with lower risks in a healthy environment. A diverse array of products can be made in our three kitchens, from breads to prepared meals. Whether you want to run a catering company or a boutique candy shop, we can accommodate you. When you rent at Kitchen Inc, you reserve an individual kitchen that is for your use alone, along with a shared prep and storage area. You may rent the Standard Kitchen, great for classes and demonstrations, the Bakery, Cold Kitchen or a combination of the three. Our pricing is clear and rewards you with discounts as you use more hours!

Getting started in our kitchens is easy. Simply register as a user in the box to the left to access applications and reservations. Registered users gain access to our Resources section with our prorietary guides on everything you need to use Kitchen Incubator and start a food business in Houston.

General Requirements from All Businesses

Only singe event renters who will not be producing any food for sale may waive the following requirements.

  • A signed copy of the Licensing Agreement

  • Proof of liability insurance of at least $1 million with Kitchen Incubator LLC listed as additional insured

  • A one-time and fully refundable $500 Security Deposit

  • A copy of a City of Houston Food Service Manager’s Certificate.

  • A copy of a Texas Food Manufacturer’s License if you plan to produce food for wholesale

Upon receipt of the above documents, Kitchen Inc will issue a Statement of Approval for your business, providing your unique reservation code with detailed instructions on how to begin using our kitchens.

Reservations

All reservations are made through our website. The calendar contains the most current information and ensures that space is efficiently and accurately booked. Please note that no reservations will ever be made over the phone or via e-mail. Reservations can be made up to 60-days in advance. Only Contract Clients may secure kitchen space beyond this window. We encourage anyone with advance obligations requiring more than 25 hours per month of kitchen time to apply to our Contract Client Program.

Contract Clients

Clients with consistent business needs may sign a contract with Kitchen Inc. in order to guarantee kitchen time ahead of the online calendar’s 60-day window. Contract Clients also receive a number of benefits including priority scheduling and our lowest rates. In order to apply for the Contract Client Program your business must rent a minimum of 25 hours monthly and show accurate demand estimates based on either sales history or existing contracts.
